you’re a big advocate of systems thinking. We were chatting about this before. I think a lot of people have heard this term systems thinking and there’s books about it. It’s sounds great. I want to be a systems thinker. What does that actually mean? How do you find you apply it in your work? How do people get better at this way of thinking?
Will Larson (00:08:57):
A lot of the least successful but smartest people I’ve worked with were really strong systems thinking advocates. And so I do want to say every kind of framework has a lot of downsides. There’s no framework that people can apply consistently, universally, and get good results. And so briefly on this one, what I see is often people will find a spot where their system and reality are in conflict and they’ll be like, “Reality is wrong.”
